Parent Involvement
The parents are the most important people in a child’s life. The Growing Tree staff shall seek to create a partnership with parents for the benefit of the child.
Parent participation is encouraged at the center. Parents are welcome at all times to visit or volunteer in the classrooms, on the playground, or on field trips. Parents are also encouraged to volunteer to help the teachers with curriculum preparation, playground projects, or a multitude of other tasks that can be for the benefit of the center. Communication between parents, staff, and children is imperative for a positive experience for all.
Teachers will send emails daily or as needed and the manager will send out emails concerning any childcare information.
Infants and toddlers will bring home a brief report everyday to inform parents how the child’s day went. Teachers of two, three, and four year olds post daily information and activities on a board so parents are aware of their child’s experiences at The Growing Tree.
