Patient and Family Advisory Council
What is a Patient and Family Advisory Council?
The Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) is a collaborative group of hospital staff, patients and family members. The council meets regularly with hospital staff to help identify opportunities to improve the patient and family experience.
Our Vision: To enrich Wilson medical Center's culture through patients and families partnering with their healthcare team.
Our Mission: To inspire and enhance the patient and family voice to make our community healthier
How to get involved:
Do you have a passion for advocacy and engagement with a focus on patient-centered care and making a difference in your community? The Wilson Medical Center Patient and Advisory Committee would love to have you!
The PFAC allows for opportunities to provide direct exchange of ideas and best practices by sharing their own unique perspective. As a member of the PFAC, our members play a vital role in enhancing the delivery of patient-centered care and advocating for the needs of our patients, staff and community. As a member of the Wilson Medical PFAC, you will participate in projects and roundtable discussions that will help guide and improve the patient experience for our Wilson community. The Patient and Advisory Committee meets the first Thursday of every month from 5:30 - 7pm. In-person and virtual options are available.
