What was your inspiration for getting into healthcare?
Growing up in a humble family background has its challenges. Having seen my grandfather suffer from COPD and my brother with asthma as a small, curious boy made me seek for ways to help them. I believe this left a great impression on me. Later in life I realized becoming a physician and specializing in pulmonary medicine would be a great way to help not only my family but the whole community. Being in a position to help people when they need is the most rewarding and immensely satisfying thing one can do and this keeps me motivated every single day to learn more and help more.
How long have you been employed?
I have enjoyed and loved practicing medicine as a physician for about ten years and hope to continue to learn more to help people heal.
Have you always been in same position?
I started this position about a year ago, and the first year has been wonderful. I am looking forward to contribute and serve the community for years to come.
What are some of your interests outside of work?
Outside work I like to paint, play guitar and have a quality time my 4-year-old, my wife and rest of my family. I also love to cook and enjoy different restaurants. What do you like most about working at WMC?
Working at Wilson Medical Center is simply amazing because of the people around me. Staff members are very friendly, thoughtful and caring. Another thing I like is the culture of growth mindset and positive impact achievement-oriented leadership which I believe will definitely have great impact not only in the community of Wilson but may people around. I look forward to contributing whatever I can to the team.
