What was your inspiration for getting into healthcare?
My mother worked as a Dietitian for 35 years at our local, community hospital. She was definitely my inspiration for starting a career in healthcare

What is a typical day like for you?
A typical day for me is atypical and generally non-routine, which fits well with my personality and leadership style. That said, most workdays include a combination of operational meetings, physician interactions, rounding with a purpose, team-based conversations and strategic decision making – all with a goal of daily improvement

How long have you been employed here?
Two months.

Have you always been in the same position?
I’ve held many administrative positions during my career, but I’m hoping this one will be the best one yet.

What are some of your interests outside of work?
I love spending quality time with my family, spending time in the mountains and watching my kids play sports. 

 What is your favorite local gem?
It has to be Lake Wilson. I’ve been out there several afternoons since moving to Wilson, to walk/jog and to appreciate nature.

What do you like most about working at WMC?
The teamwork demonstrated here is awesome. WMC is a great place to work with a wonderful, capable team of clinical and support staff dedicated to serving this community.
