Wilson Medical Center is proud to announce that its Wilson Rehabilitation and Nursing Center (WRNC) has earned a 5-star Overall Quality Provider rating from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid.
This rating encompasses scores for WRNC’s overall quality, health inspections, quality measures and staffing ratings. Wilson Rehabilitation and Nursing Center scored an additional 5-star quality measure rating, including data for short-term and long-term stay residents.
“We are proud of the entire facility staff,” WRNC Director Julia Batts said. “This rating was earned through the dedication and excellent care delivery provided by our staff each day.”
Wilson Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is a 90-bed licensed nursing facility with 20 short-term rehabilitation rooms. In 2024, WRNC provided skilled nursing and rehabilitation services to 233 members of the Wilson community. The facility is hopeful to serve even more Wilson-area residents in 2025.
Nearly 100 employees contributed to WRNC’s 5-star designation in the following disciplines: certified nursing assistants, medication aides, LPNs, RNs, nutritional services, environmental services, plant operations, administrative nursing, activities, social work, medical records, financial coordinator and therapy.
“I have always considered WRNC as a vital component of our hospital, CEO Lindy White said. “The 5-star designation earned by the team is a testament to our mission statement of ‘making communities healthier.’ I could not be more proud of the work by the entire team in modeling what quality healthcare is, and all of our community should be proud that such a facility exists in Wilson.”
WRNC actively seeks qualified staff members to join its team. For more information, visit Wilsonmedical.com/careers.
