Dr. Phillip Perkins Joins Wilson Physician Services

Wilson Medical Center is pleased to announce that Phillip Perkins, M.D., has joined the Wilson Physician Services team.

Dr. Perkins is practicing at Wilson Stantonsburg Clinic located at 312 Main Street in Stantonsburg, NC. His practice interests include treating minor illnesses and injuries, occupational medicine, school sports physicals, DOT physicals, school and pre-employment exams. The office will also have onsite X-ray and lab capabilities.

He joins Wilson Medical Center from FastMed Urgent Care in Morehead City, where he has worked since 2014. Dr. Perkins has more than 25 years of emergency and urgent care medicine experience.

Dr. Perkins received his medical degree from the University of Mississippi in Jackson, MS. He completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at East Carolina School of Medicine in Greenville.

Dr. Perkins and his wife Angie have been married for 29 years. They have two daughters – Mallory who lives in Charleston, SC, and Sailer who lives in Washington, DC. He enjoys woodworking, outdoor activities and spending time with family.

Wilson Physician Services is a multispecialty medical group that includes primary care, endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurology, orthopedics, pulmonology and urology.
