Dr. Badie T. Clark, III Joins Wilson Medical Center

Wilson Medical Center is pleased to welcome Badie T. Clark, III, M.D. to its medical staff.
Dr. Clark is a board-certified pediatrician and brings more than 10 years of pediatric critical care experience to Wilson. He is practicing at Eastern Carolina Pediatrics located at 1702 Medical Park Drive.
Dr. Clark received his medical degree from Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. He completed his family medicine internship at New Hanover Regional Medicine Center in Wilmington and pediatric medicine residency at Pitt County Memorial Hospital (now Vidant Medical Center) in Greenville. Dr. Clark went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at University Health System of Virginia in Charlottesville.
He specializes in well-child exams, immunizations, sports physicals, treatment of childhood illnesses and sick care for infants, children, and adolescents.
Dr. Clark joins Wilson Medical Center from Wayne UNC Health Care in Goldsboro where he works part time as a hospitalist. Additionally, he is adjunct faculty at Vidant Health and Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine at Campbell University, a position he has held at both institutions for more than two years.
His pediatric critical care experience includes working in the pediatric emergency department at Nash UNC Health Care, during which time he served as medical director of the inpatient pediatrics and neonatology department. Prior to that, he worked several years in the pediatric intensive care unit at New Hanover Regional Medical Center and WakeMed Health and Hospitals in Raleigh.
A Wilson native, Dr. Clark lives here with his wife Julie and their two children – Tessa and Badie T. He enjoys spending time with his family, watching his kids play sports, going to the beach and running. Dr. Clark said that for as long as he can remember he wanted to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather, the late Badie Clark, M.D., who was a general surgeon and one of the first physicians on staff at Wilson Medical Center.
