Christopher Gal, MD, Joins Wilson Gastroenterology

Wilson Medical Center is pleased to welcome Christopher Gal, M.D. to its medical staff.
Dr. Gal is practicing with Mamun Shahrier, M.D., and Brittany Fulghum, AGNP-C at Wilson Gastroenterology. He is board-certified in internal medicine and board qualified in gastroenterology.
Dr. Gal received his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies. He completed his internal medicine residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and was Chief Medical Resident in the Department of Medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Gal recently completed his gastroenterology fellowship at Norwalk Hospital/Yale School of Medicine in Norwalk, CT.
He specializes in liver disease, ulcerative colitis, colonoscopy, abdominal pain, Crohn’s disease, capsule endoscopy, heartburn and upper endoscopy.
Dr. Gal is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Gastroenterological Association and American College of Physicians.
Some of his interests include travelling, trying new culinary experiences, cooking and staying physically active.
