Wilson Medical Center is pleased to welcome family nurse practitioner, Chasity Godwin, to the Wilson Physician Services team.

Godwin is practicing at Wilson Internal Medicine Associates with Jonathan G. Dewald, M.D. Wilson Internal Medicine Associates is located at 1700 Tarboro Street in Suite 100.

She specializes in:

• Primary/preventative care
• Annual physicals
• Management of acute care
• Management of chronic illnesses
• Women’s health services
• Minor procedures

She also has a special interest in exercise, general health and wellness.

Godwin received her Master of Science in Nursing from Duke University School of Nursing. She received her Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing from Barton College.

Godwin has practiced medicine in Wilson, where she has called “home” since graduating from Barton College. She is married and has a one-year-old son. Godwin enjoys spending time with her family and working out at CrossFit. She says her motto is “exercise and healthy habits don’t get in the way of my life, it just adds to the quality of it.” Godwin also enjoys volunteering with her church Wilson Praise and Worship and with “Emery’s Place” a food truck and outreach ministry through her church.
